The prom committee is working hard to make this year’s prom very special for our students. Because we are a Christian organization and participate with other Christian organizations from our community, our students have the opportunity to engage with other like-minded young people and create memories that will last forever.
Blue Springs Enrichment’s Homeschool Prom will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Bar R Ranch, 5657 Reddoch Road, Marianna, FL 32446. Students aged 14 and up, (students must be 14 in April to attend), may attend our 6th annual homeschool prom. BSE students and their guests are required to abide by all guidelines outlined below. All attendees must sign and submit this contract in order to attend prom.
Tickets:
- BSE Member: $75/each
- BSE Senior: *$70/each
- Non-Member: *$80/each
*If you purchased a senior grad packet, your ticket is included. If your senior needs to purchase a guest ticket, please do so here.
Payment plans are available. You will be invoiced once you sign up and choose the option that works best for your family.
No refunds will be issued.
Prom photos will be available for students to purchase at $10 per pose (up to 5 poses.) Digital copies will be available to download through a Google link that will be emailed directly to you. We strongly suggest that you pre-register with the photographer prior to the date of the event. Any student not pre-registered can still have their photo taken, but it will be on a first come, first serve basis and payment must be handed directly to the photographer - cash or check only. Poses will be similar to the fliers below.
- - Prom Policy & Dress Code - -
In an effort to better communicate the standards for prom attire and safety, we are providing the following guidelines for students and their guests.
1. All attendees that are not BSE students, must present a copy of their current school ID, driver’s license or birth certificate at the door. No admittance without this documuntation. 2. All non-BSE students/attendees must submit a copy of their ID to Bonnie Simpston March 15, 2025. Email: [email protected]. Only students who are on the approved list will be admitted. No exchange of tickets allowed. No guests over the age of 21 will be admitted. 3. There is no re-entry. Once students or guests leave, they may not return. 4. Students who are dressed inappropriately will not be admitted to prom and no refunds will be issued. Anyone deemed inappropriate by administrators on duty will be denied admittance. 5. Backpacks or large purses are not permitted. 6. Students are required to demonstrate appropriate behavior at all times while in attendance at prom, both on the dance floor and the designated areas. 7. Students are to refrain from physical contact or dance styles that are sexually explicit in nature. (Administration has the final decision.) 8. Students who do not abide by these standards will be asked to leave the prom and no refund will be given. Parents/guardians will be contacted regarding their dismissal from the event. 9. Students attending prom must meet the following discipline eligibility requirements: a. Misconduct at a school sponsored activity
b. Disciplinary eligibility
10. Students and guests who are suspected of alcohol or drug consumption or possession, weapon possession other violations will be: a. Detained, and a parent or guardian contacted; b. Removed from the prom; c. Restricted from other future BSE sponsored events; i. Graduating seniors will lose the privilege of participating in the commencement ceremony and remaining senior activities. ii. BSE underclassmen will lose the privilege of attending any school-sponsored events for one calendar year. d. Police officers will be contacted. |
- - DRESS CODE - - Female Attendees Formal gowns or pantsuits. Strapless is not permitted Dresses are to be no more than 2 inches above the knee (front and back). This also applies to slits in dresses. The front of the dress must not fall below the bra line. The back of the dress must not fall below the waist. Male Attendees Males are encouraged to wear a suit or sports coat, but at a minimum, they are expected to wear semiformal wear, such as slacks, nice shoes, and a nice shirt. Ties are encouraged, but not required. All male attendees must be clean-shaven or have well-kept facial hair. The following will not be permitted: Dresses with revealing cut-outs. See-though gowns, including sheer/mesh overlays that do not have material underneath. Shorts Torn clothing All Students If the attire is questionable, students are encouraged to show their evening wear to an administrator beforehand to determine if it is dance-appropriate. Non-compliant students will not be admitted to the dance.
